The Band

Art Harris

art leader
leader, guitarist
and vocalist of the band

Art has been playing professionally for the past three decades.  Growing up in the Northeast provided Art with the opportunity to learn from and play with many of the great blues legends to come out of the Boston-Rhode Island area, including a number of the members from national recording artist Room Full of Blues.  Art has developed a style that can switch on a dime from straight ahead blues to swinging rhythm to syncopated funk.

Jay Mollica

Rounding out the
Z-Tones is sax man

Like the rest of the band, Jay is a veteran of the Northeast music scene.  He attended Berklee School of Music and had the opportunity to play with some of the leading musicians in the Boston area. For the past two decades he’s played with some of the premier blues bands in Florida. Equally comfortable shredding through a hot lead or taking a step back to provide support, Jay provides the band with just the right amount of mojo.

ken bass

Ken Zeszutko

The “Z-Tone” half of the band

A 15-year veteran of the blues music scene, Ken lays down the musical foundation with his upright bass. For the band’s funk tunes, he quickly switches to the electric bass to pump out steady grooves. A native of New York, Ken provides the low-end presence that sets the tone for the band.

don drummer

Drummer Don Fournier

A true pocket player

A native of Rhode Island, Don has four decades worth of blues experience under his belt. He has played with a long list of accomplished bands on the New England scene, opening for Roomful of Blues, KoKo Taylor, Jerry Lee Lewis, Duke Robillard, and Ronny Earl among others. Since he relocated to Florida, Don has worked with some of the most respected musicians around. Most recently he played drums for George Terry and Big Bill Morganfield.
